High School Student: She is the "Number one idol no one wants as a girlfriend." Quite popular in her school and liked by everyone, she makes the guys tremble. One moment she can be friendly and outgoing... but if you upset her, but prepared to feel her wrath. It's not fun living with an enraged girlfriend. Ever. There's also a very, very occasional silly and "wtf" side to her, I mean, come on. She is a high school Junior. For the most part Chidori is very serious, watching the craziness from the sidelines.
Student Counsel Representative: Chidori is all about proper order and, as the military would put it, chain of command. She's a lot more like Sousuke than she realizes in this respect. They both agree that there is a way to do things properly (althought their thoughts on how things should be done differ dramatically). Proper order and rules are a must.
Living Alone: Chidori differs from the average High School Student in the fact that she lives alone in her apartment with her hamster and pet fish. Her father is in America with her sister. She lost her mother a fairly short time ago. The cause of her mother's death has been hinted at as cancer, but not confirmed.
Teh hiasen: Her weaponry of choice. She employs this to keep Sousuke in line, frequently. She's quite powerful with it, no doubt her years of sports involvment are to thank.
Hobbies: Shopping, cooking and her social life are a must. Any sports really, her favorite tends to be baseball.
Clothing: Standard Issue School Uniform. After school she has a bright, happy, conservative style. Not a big jewelry wearer (probably due to her tomboy nature)
Whispered: Chidori possesses an innate power. She has a very dangerous power unknown to her. It can't be explained by her or to her (at this point in the series). Chidori is not the only Whispered, however, it is her storyline we follow in the series. Her power has been described as capable of releasing weapons more powerful than atomic and nuclear arms, like searching for a buried treasure hidden within a Whispered's brain and has also been shown to be responsible for sudden violent outbursts - albeit, more controllable by some Whispereds than others.
To Chidori, Whispered episodes involve her talking about information she's never been taught, never been exposed to and supposedly has known since before she was born. She doesn't recall any of it after the episode has passed. Paradoxically, this fearful destroying power has saved Kurz, Sousuke and the entirety of Mithril more than once.
